Project Rose Gold

The Rose Gold Project is a charitable initiative aimed at providing underserved and unhoused youth with the opportunity to participate in club volleyball. It seeks to make the sport more accessible to those who may not have the means or resources to engage in such activities.

Project Rose Gold is the heart of Exodus Volleyball Club. It is our promise to the youth in our community that socioeconomic status will not be an obstacle when it comes to dreaming BIG.

Your tuition and donations ensure that EVERYONE can play.

Martha has attended Monarch School since Kindergarten. Monarch is a K-12 school that caters to at-risk and homeless youth in San Diego.

As a freshman, she led a 6 player roster to Monarch’s first playoff appearance and victory in school history.  Four of those 6 girls are active Exodus athletes. They also won League Co-Champs. Martha led her league in kills, earned a spot in 1st team all-league, and was nominated for player of the year.

Martha has been an Exodus athlete since 2016. She started her journey with us as a 7th grader where she also helped bring Monarch’s first middle school championship. In her time with us, she has been able to train and participate with local and travel teams.

Martha received sponsorship from one of our founding members and has benefited from athletic clothes and shoe donations.

We want to take this time and thank the Gomez Family. Ruth and her family have supported Martha throughout the seasons in the form of sponsorship and helping with transportation, clothes, and housing during tournaments. We are very proud to have you guys as members of this organization. Thank you for all the selfless acts.

We were blessed when Diana and Betiana walked through our doors. They brought a contagious joy with them. Through smiles and kindness they won our hearts over.

Diana and Betiana were born and raised in Venezuela after their parents fled from Haiti due to natural disasters.

They came to the U.S as political refugees from Venezuela. In the short time they have been here, they have excelled in sports and are learning English. They already speak Spanish and Creole.  We are beyond proud to announce that Diana graduated 6th grade as her class Valedictorian from the Preuss School UCSD.

They have just begun their journey with us, and we are excited to give back all they joy they have brought to our organization. We want to take this time to thank the Laffaye Family for sponsoring both of their seasons, it is generous acts like these that make our Exodus Family unique.
